Start With the Guest List
Once you have a rough head count, sketch the day in zones: a place to arrive, somewhere to sit, a food or dessert table, a gift area, and a comfortable spot for photos. Leave clear paths between them. If games or activities are part of the shower, allow more open floor space than the furniture plan seems to require.
The room has high ceilings, climate control, bathrooms, parking, and loading access. Ask about access timing before arranging deliveries or asking a decorator, photographer, or rental company to arrive.
Bring the Details That Make It Yours
Some families plan a seated meal; others prefer a relaxed open house. Both can work here. You may bring outside vendors when the details are confirmed in advance, but do not assume that tables, chairs, linens, catering, décor, sound, lighting, staffing, or equipment are included with the room.
Before ordering a backdrop or attaching decorations, check the venue rules. Confirm load-in, pickup, and cleanup times with every vendor so those tasks fit inside the rental window.
