Confirm Rules Before Booking

Every event is different. A small weekday class is not the same as a Saturday night party, a wedding reception, a vendor market, or a video production. Before you finalize your rental, confirm the rules that apply to your event type, rental time, guest count, vendor plan, and setup needs.

If a detail matters to your event, do not guess. Ask before booking. This includes outside vendors, food, alcohol, music, DJ equipment, decorations, security, extra setup time, cleanup, parking, and large deliveries.

Respect the Rental Time

Your rental time should include the full time you need to access the space. That may include setup, vendor load-in, decorating, the event itself, breakdown, cleaning, and load-out. If you need extra time, ask before booking or before event day.

Do not assume vendors can arrive early or stay late unless that time is included in your rental agreement or confirmed by The Frame. Overtime, early access, and late exit rules may affect your cost or deposit.

Cleaning and Cleanup

Renters should leave the space in the condition required by the rental agreement. Cleanup expectations may include removing trash, removing decorations, clearing rentals, making sure vendors have loaded out, and leaving the venue ready for the next use.

If your event includes food, drinks, confetti, decorations, market materials, production gear, or large guest flow, plan cleanup before the event begins. Confirm whether cleanup time is part of your rental window.

Vendors and Outside Rentals

Outside vendors may be part of your event plan, but vendor use should be confirmed before booking. This includes caterers, DJs, decorators, photographers, videographers, rental companies, furniture providers, lighting companies, sound providers, market vendors, instructors, and production crews.

Do not assume tables, chairs, catering, decor, sound, lighting, staging, event staff, or equipment are included unless confirmed directly. If you need those items, plan them separately and confirm load-in and pickup timing.

Decorations and Setup

The Frame is a flexible space, but decorations must be handled responsibly. Ask before attaching anything to walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, fixtures, or building surfaces. Do not use anything that could damage the venue or create extra cleanup without approval.

If your setup includes backdrops, arches, pipe and drape, lighting, signage, balloons, photo booths, vendor booths, or staging, confirm the plan before event day.

Music, Sound, and Event Activity

Music, DJs, live sound, performances, classes, and amplified audio should be discussed before booking. The correct setup depends on the event type, timing, equipment, volume, and any requirements that apply to the rental.

If your event includes a DJ, band, performance, dance event, fitness class, or production sound, contact The Frame with the details before confirming the rental.

Safety, Security, and Guest Behavior

Renters are responsible for planning an event that respects the venue, guests, vendors, and surrounding property. Large events, late events, alcohol-related events, ticketed events, or events with special risk factors may require additional review.

Security, staffing, age restrictions, alcohol rules, insurance, permits, or other requirements should be confirmed directly when they apply. Do not assume approval for any special use without written confirmation.

Deposits and Damage

A security deposit or other deposit terms may apply. Deposit rules may relate to damage, cleanup, overtime, missing items, rule violations, or failure to return the venue in the required condition. Confirm the current security deposit terms before booking.

For more details, visit the Security Deposit page or contact The Frame.
